I came back into the house, and all these hives appeared on my arm. My left ear started ringing. Five days later, I was deaf in my left ear.

It was just one of those things. I stand in front of the net every game. That one just got me.

It went numb right away, and I kind of had it in my mind that it might be broken.

The best thing is we're playing teams that we're chasing, so we have the opportunity to move up without having to get any help from somebody else. It's going to be up to us these last 23 games whether we make the playoffs or not.

It's up to us to adjust how we play the game. It's not up to the refs to figure out how to call it.

A lot of people in this building were here during the flood of 1993. Half of our mission is humanitarian efforts. We don't just take bullets from one place to another.

You're frustrated because obviously they called one in the first that wasn't a penalty. Then whenever there is one, they said they didn't see it. It's frustrating when there was a high stick and there's proof.

As a team we were pretty passive Friday night against them in our zone, letting them create opportunity after opportunity. We tried to tighten up defensively and eliminate their plays as quickly as we could tonight.

But once I was able to work out again, I decided to give it another shot and train really hard.
